Dworek Nad Stawem is located near Ostrów Mazowiecka, surrounded by picturesque fields and forests of Puszcza Biała. Spring fields are sprinkled with blooming oilseed rape, corn and cereals. In autumn pine forests invite you to mushrooming. Summer is the perfect time to organize kayaking flowing near the Bug River. It will be also a real delight of fishing skirmishes with catfish, pike and other natives of the Bug. Through all the year you can enjoy the attractions in the nearby riding stables, where they are prepared classes for both beginners as well as experienced riders. We also invite you to play paintball, where everyone can touch the thrill of shooting and tactical excitement. Those who wish to sensational attractions we offer a unique trip on the Biebrza National Park - a flight in a balloon. As part of a peacefull intercourse with nature will be invaluable walking in forest where you can smell the trees. The recently created bicycle paths invite tourists and cyclists to traverse the beautiful scenery of the district Ostrow Mazowiecka.

City Ostrów Mazowiecka hides some interesting architecture and historical buildings. At the heart of the city 's neo-baroque town hall from 1927 . From the east side welcomes travelers neo-Gothic church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1885. In the northern part of the city on the cemetery there is made of wood burial chapel dedicated St. Sophia, built approx. 1830 for Sophia from Przyjemskich Barzykowskiej.

Our neighborhood is also a testimony of the difficult Polish history. In 1941 the Wehrmacht made in barracks on Różańska street near Ostrów Mazowiecka a camp (Stalag 333) for prisoners of war and civilians. Until August 1944 there were killed about 40 000 people. In the former artillery range near Grady Nazis established extermination camp (Stalag 324) for Russian prisoners. By the autumn of 1943 they were murdered there about 90 000 people. In 1941, the Nazis builded a complex of two German camps, labor and extermination (Treblinka I and Treblinka II), exist in the forests along the Bug River, along the railway line Siedlce Malkinia, near the village of Poniatowo. The name comes from the name of the train station - Treblinka - located in the vicinity of camps. In terms of the number of victims (approx. 850 thous. Persons) camp Treblinka II was second to Auschwitz -Birkenau extermination camp operating in occupied Europe during World War II.
